Rosie’s field hockey career began back in 2008 as a forward. After a few short weeks, she realized that her passion was being in the net and she never looked back. She played club Field Hockey for 8 years before heading off to Miami of Ohio. During her time there she was a MAC regular season champion and tournament champion for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons, as well as making 2 Sweet 16 appearances in 2017 and 2018.
Rosie’s coaching style is based on one main principle; reminding the players why they started playing and making sure they never lose the love of the game. She began coaching goalkeepers during Spring of 2020 for a local club team. A few months later, she began her high school coaching career at The Agnes Irwin School as the Assistant Varsity Coach. Rosie hopes to not only teach fundamentals as well as advanced technical skills, but help support and inspire each individual players growth and development. She believes in open lines of communication between herself and her players and building strong training plans to help each goalkeeper reach their top potential and individual goals.
