Drew Taylor

Drew Taylor became the Bryn Mawr Field Hockey program’s first full-time assistant coach in June 2025.

Taylor comes to Bryn Mawr after an illustrious playing career at Penn State, where she recently graduated with a B.A. in Communication Arts and Science and a certificate in Organizational Leadership.

During her five-year career in State College, Taylor played forward for the Nittany Lions, earning a Big Ten Championship and Final Four appearance in 2022 and a Big Ten Tournament appearance in 2023 before serving as a team captain in 2024. She appeared in 43 games and made 29 starts while also serving on the Student Athlete Advisory Counsel and Big Ten Conference Issues Commission.

While at Penn State, Taylor coached with Blue Stripe Field Hockey Club for two years and umpires within the USA Field Hockey umpiring pathway.

At Penn State “The Nittanys” athletics award ceremony in April 2025, Taylor was honored with the Above and Beyond Award, recognizing her work on campus and in the community as a true representation of the “We Are” mantra.
