Jackie Shragher

Growing up in Holland, PA, Jackie Shragher attended Council Rock High School South, where she developed her passion for field hockey.  She went on to play Division II field hockey at Bloomsburg University as a defender and midfielder, appearing in 74 games and starting 60 during her career. As a senior, Jackie served as team captain and earned All-PSAC Third Team honors in 2018.

Jackie was also recognized for her academic success, earning multiple PSAC Scholar Athlete and D2 ADA Scholar Athlete honors while being named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad and NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.

Following her playing career, Jackie pursued a career in speech pathology and now works as a Speech Pathologist in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. She also coaches middle school field hockey at T/E Middle School and is a Pilates instructor.

Jackie’s coaching philosophy centers on developing athletes who work hard, compete with confidence, and support their teammates. She believes success is built through preparation, effort, and a commitment to continual improvement while building a positive environment that balances hard work, teamwork, and fun.

2018: Recorded one assist in a 5–1 win against Seton Hill (11/10). Served as team captain and earned All-PSAC Third Team honors.

2017: Started and appeared in 18 games and ranked second on the team with five defensive saves.

2016: Appeared in all 19 games and started five contests while recording one assist in the season-opening win at Adelphi.

2015: Started all 20 games as a freshman, scoring two goals and leading the team with three defensive saves. Named to the Synapse Sports All-Rookie Team.
