The Main Line Field Hockey Club takes the health and wellness of our athletes, coaches and families very seriously, and in deciding to remain open and provide the athletic outlet our families so desperately need during these difficult times, we ask that our participants follow all applicable guidance and mandates as closely as possible. While we ALL assume a risk in participating in youth sports, it is crucial that we work together to mitigate this risk as much as possible to protect those who are vulnerable in the Club—coaches (pregnant coaches!), athletes, babies and grandparents, alike.
We ask that all Mayhem families continue to follow the protocols suggested by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Pennsylvania Department of Health Guidelines if they wish to participate Mayhem activities. I am not asking you to stop your lives to be part of this Club, but I am calling on Parents to enforce responsible hygiene, mask wearing and social distancing within their families. This will help the Club remain OPEN, practices running smoothly, and prevent needing to withdraw from tournaments on account of a quarantined team. This also requires that families communicate with Coach [email protected] quickly, directly and honestly about any potential exposures your daughter may have had, so that I may do the same. Of course, Mayhem cannot provide medical advice to you or your family, particularly with respect to any specific conditions you or members of your family have, and you should consult with your physician before participating in Mayhem activities.

COVID Refund Policy & Commitment to Play
It is highly probable that at some point during your program we will have to quarantine your group for two weeks on account of a Covid-19 exposure. Almost all Mayhem programs are dependent upon pre-paid facilities, staffing and events that are non-refundable. As such, Mayhem will not be able to issue refunds/credits for any cancellations or quarantines. By committing to a Mayhem program, you are committing to attending all practices and tournaments that are included in your program, assuming the associated risks, and regardless of state travel advisories or NCAA recruiting restrictions. Our priority will continue to be the safety, health and well-being of the kids by trying to minimize their direct contact with one another as much as possible (masks and/or socially distant when not engaged in activity) and the coaches will remain masked and over 6 feet away from the kids. We will continue issuing daily Health Questionnaires and checking temperatures. But please keep in mind, our success and ability to keep our programs running is dependent on the responsibility of ALL of our families to exercise caution outside of Mayhem to minimize our risk; please help us keep the Mayhem on the field by doing your part to fight the spread of this virus.
