Jenna Knouse, once Drexel’s vocal team leader at center back, team captain, and starter in (57) games over her final three seasons in the Blue and Gold, brings her highly decorated collegiate resume and US Indoor Team career to Mayhem, along with stunning academic and professional achievements. In the fall of 2018, Jenna will also be entering her second season as the Volunteer Assistant for her beloved alma mater.
Jenna was named to the 2012 CAA All-Rookie Team as a freshman and the 2013 preseason field hockey team as a sophomore. As a junior, Jenna was named to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Academic All-Area Team, All-CAA Second Team, and NFHCA Division I All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team. Jenna was also named Drexel’s Helen Callas Reiner MVP Award as a junior and received Drexel’s Coach’s Award as a senior. In 2014 and 2015, Jenna was named to the All-CAA Academic Squad. For all four collegiate seasons, she was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, a NFHCA Scholars of Distinction Selection, and a CAA Commissioner’s Award Recipient.
Prior to college, Knouse represented the USA as a member of the U21 Women’s Indoor National Team and was named to the 2011-12 Women’s National Indoor Travel Team. In February 2017, Jenna managed the US Women’s Over-40 Indoor National Team at the Masters Indoor World Cup in Krefeld, Germany. She coached beneath fellow Mayhem coach and former collegiate teammate Lauren Hibshman.
Jenna graduated summa cum laude from Drexel University in 2016 with a B.S. in fashion design. Since graduating she launched her own fashion brand jenna k. She also manages the e-commerce department of the Philadelphia-based boutique Knit Wit.
